About the Community-Led Resilience Program

The Community-Led Resilience Program aims to strengthen the capability of a community to respond to future shocks and stresses such as fire, floods and climate change. 

The Community-Led Resilience Program is supported by the Minderoo Foundation and is part of the Resilient Communities Mission. The Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience and EllisKent are working together to deliver this program. Find out more.

Millgrove Community-Led Resilience Project

The small community of Millgrove, in Victoria, is is the first community of 50 Australia-wide identified by the Minderoo Foundation to undertake a community planning process that promotes community-led resilience to natural hazards.

Supported by the Australian Institute of Disaster Resilience (AIDR) and ResilientCo, the Millgrove Resident Action Group (MRAG) dreamed big and to pull together a plan with small and large projects designed to lift Millgrove’s resilience.
