Storm -South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales

In early October 2007, severe storms brought about heavy rain and caused widespread damage in south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales. There was damage to roads, bridges, houses and buildings. The State Emergency Services (SES) provided accommodation, household repairs and replacement assistance.

The Insurance Council of Australia estimated the 2007 damage at $97 million, with the 2011 estimated normalised cost of $109 million.
