Disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction framework and toolkit for collaborative action | The University of Sydney
The Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DIDRR) Framework and Toolkit for Collaborative Action is for all Australians – individuals, communities, organisations, sectors, and governments – to improve how we learn and work together to identify and remove barriers for people with disability before, during, and after disasters. The framework consolidates nearly a decade of research conducted with communities on how to apply person-centred, capability-focused, and disability-inclusive approaches to disaster risk reduction practices.
