Between 27 December 1990 and 10 January 1991, a bushfire occured in the Strathbogie Ranges in Victoria. 

The bushfire resulted in the death of one volunteer firefighter, as well as the loss of 13,500 livestock. One hundred and sixty-six buildings were impacted; 30 people were made homeless by the event.

The Strathbogie fire caused an estimated direct loss of $1.1 million; the agricultural business disruption was estimated at $1.2 million.
